Your Role…
Successful candidates will join a young, strong and motivated FINATRAX Research Group. The research group conducts research on digital technologies like Blockchain, Digital Identities, AI, and IoT.
FINATRAX has two career paths: academic and industrial. Candidates will decide whether they want to pursue the academic track where they focus on publications and work on grant projects or the industry track, where they focus on cooperation with our industrial partners and project management.
Successful candidates will:
- Carry out applied research on:
- New applications of Federated Learning in real word environments
- New Machine Learning techniques for various application areas (e.g. Finance, Energy)
- Consensus mechanisms for Federated Learning
- Disseminate results through scientific publications.
- Provide guidance to PhD students.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in cts, especially in the financial sector
Your Profile…
- PhD degree or equivalent in Computer Science, FinTech, Information Systems (Engineering), Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field
- Prior experience in publishing high-impact research
- Knowledge in research method(s)
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of French, German, and Luxembourgish are not required
