The University of Nottingham seeks applications for a full-time Assistant Professor in Human Factors. This role is offered as research & teaching where the person appointed would lead relevant research programs complementing and expanding existing capability. 

Applications are invited from individuals with teaching/research experience in human factors/ergonomics/human-computer interaction (HCI). You will have a PhD in ergonomics, human factors, HCI, or other relevant area. 

The appointment will be within the Human Factors Research Group and to the Department of Mechanical, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering. 

You will take responsibility for delivering high quality teaching and will contribute to the planning, design, development and delivery of materials on our undergraduate and post-graduate taught programmes. The role may include the development of course curricula and teaching materials as required. You may also make a significant contribution to their academic unit via leadership and/or administrative management and/or co-ordination of specific initiatives.
