We are seeking to appoint a motivated scientist with wide experience of solid-state materials as a postdoctoral research associate to investigate charge doping of metal-organic frameworks, working within the research group of Dr Matthew Cliffe at the School of Chemistry University of Nottingham (https://cliffe.nottingham.ac.uk). This position is part of the DISCO-MOF UKRI Frontier Grant (ERC Guarantee) project.

The post holder is expected to synthesise non-stoichiometric radical metal-organic frameworks and characterise their structures and magnetic properties using bulk property and scattering methods.

A PhD (or close to completion) in Chemistry or related field with demonstrated excellence in the experimental study of inorganic solid-state materials is essential.
