Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Research in the areas of Process Mining, Machine Learning and Data Mining
- Pursuing your own scientific qualification
- Publishing research results in the form of peer-reviewed articles at relevant conferences and in specialized journals
- Participating in the teaching activities of the department
- Supervision of master‘s and bachelor’s students
- Supporting lectures, seminars and practicals
- Participating in other scientific tasks of the department.
Your qualifications:
- University degree (M.Sc.) with very good grades in Computer Science or related fields
- Strong background in Data Mining (and ideally in the topic interested in)
- Solid programming skills in at least one programming language
- Good communication skills, fluent in English, and ideally knowledge of German.

Your workplace is centrally located at the English Garden in Munich and is easily accessible by public transportation. The salary is based on the German TV-L E13. The position is limited to three years, with the possibility of extension. We welcome applications from women.
