Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences aims to make a positive and meaningful impact on global change and the world’s health. This post is based in the busy and vibrant Research and Knowledge Exchange (RKE) team at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences(FMHS).
This role will provide professional administrative and project support to the Deputy Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research and Knowledge Exchange (daPVC RKE) in the FMHS to support the execution of the daPVC RKE’s responsibilities. You will be working as a team member of the School and Faculty Executive Support Groups, where appropriate, to provide administrative and project assistance to the leadership role holder to support research and knowledge exchange in the Faculty as well as the daPVCs additional roles.
You should have significant previous experience in an administrative role. You should also have excellent customer service, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. Experience of working within a project/research-based environment would be an advantage.
Excellent IT skills are essential (MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook), experience of other web based software would also be an advantage. Your previous experience will enable you to provide professional, proactive, and flexible administrative and project support in the FMHS RKE team.
The post is offered on a fixed-term, part-time (18.15 hours per week) contract until 30 November 2025.
