Course Description: Advanced Ratemaking Methods for P&C Insurance This course will cover advanced ratemaking methods for P&C insurance. It includes topics such as commercial insurance pricing, catastrophic pricing, reinsurance pricing and GLM applications to P&C insurance.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Master’s degree required
Preferred Qualifications: PhD preferred in Statistics, Applied Statistics, Actuarial Science, Biostatistics or related discipline. Prior experience teaching at the university level. Prior experience teaching ACT471 or a similar course an asset. Note: Applicants may be asked to supply references.
Description of duties: Preparation and delivery of lectures in this course. Preparation, supervision and grading of assignments, tests, and final examinations in accordance with university regulations; reporting final grades; counseling students; supervising sessional instructional assistant(s).
