This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established research development team and a multi-disciplinary academic R&D team to support the advancement of Arts and Humanities-led business engagement that drives new opportunities for research, knowledge exchange, business growth and commercialisation. The main objective of the role is to develop the Faculty’s capacity to deliver R&D support for business engagement in a new Virtual and Immersive Production Studio set up to support innovation in content production and consumption through different modes of audience engagement. The R&D facility involves an established collaboration between the Faculties of Arts and Science and aligns to the creative and cultural sectors.
The role holder will be tasked with driving business engagement with the R&D facility, developing a network of business partners, assisting in the development and delivery of a business engagement programme and identifying funding opportunities to support R&D, commercialisation and the longer-term sustainability of the Virtual and Immersive Production Studio.
Candidates should have previous experience of business engagement, programme planning and delivery, customer management, bringing teams together and project management within the context of multi-disciplinary business engagement. They should be educated to degree level or equivalent with an understanding of research cultures in higher education with existing knowledge and experience of Arts and Humanities research.

This position is offered on a fixed term contract until 31 July 2024 (with the possibility to extend subject to funding). Hours of work are part time (14.5 hours per week).
