Our School is part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, one of five faculties at the University of Nottingham, itself one of the 24 UK Russell Group universities.
We are pleased to announce that we have a vacancy available for a new full-time Professor. This is a permanent post for which we seek candidates with curriculum leadership experience and expertise to be our Associate Deputy Head of School for Education and Student Experience (ESE). In this role you will lead the Education and Student Experience pillar across the School of Health Sciences for an initial period of three years in rotation with colleagues, with an underlying permanent Professorial contract.
You will be strategically accountable for our Undergraduate and Postgraduate portfolio, chairing the ESE Board and leading ESE directorate to deliver an excellent student experience. You will undertake Research / Scholarly activity consistent with Professorial standing and provide an excellent standard of teaching and support for student learning that is underpinned by the evidence base. You will undertake continuing professional development, working in partnership with staff and students to maintain the highest standards in all areas of their work.
You will be accountable to the Head of School / Deputy Head of School and will report to the Senior Management Board.

This role is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours. Arrangements for job share may be considered.
