Salary: £39,592 to £54,421 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor in Finance, Risk and Banking (Teaching Focussed). The person appointed will be expected to engage in high quality teaching in these subject areas, contributing to programmes offered by the School at Undergraduate, Postgraduate, MBA and PhD levels. They will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration. 

Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant discipline (or be close to completion) together with teaching experience at HE level and the ability to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in relevant subjects across the areas of Finance, Risk and Banking. In addition, excellent communication skills, the ability to supervise Undergraduate, Postgraduate, MBA and PhD students, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and the ability to work well in a team are also key requirements of the role. 

This role is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours).
