The School of Cultures, Languages and Area Studies (CLAS) is looking to appoint a Senior Administrator to provide practical, hands-on administrative support to enable a dynamic programme of R&D and business engagement in the Faculty of Arts’ new Virtual and Immersive Production Studio (located on King’s Meadow Campus).  This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly, inclusive, and supportive team who are committed to the smooth and efficient running of the school. 

Working with the Virtual and Immersive Production (VIP) Studio’s director, Professor Helen Kennedy, VIP Studio Business Engagement Officer and Technician, you will be responsible for purchasing, event set up and delivery arrangements including liaison across academic teams and the delivery of professional communications and marketing out to businesses.

You’ll have excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to communicate complex information to multiple stakeholders and the ability to work calmy under pressure/tight deadlines whilst paying attention to detail. You’ll have experience of working within a HE environment or similar complex organisation as well as experience of financial management. The ability to establish positive working relationships and personal credibility with a wide range of people is essential, as is a good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Access.
