The Department of Diagnostic Imaging at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) invites applications from interested and qualified radiologists for a faculty position in the Division of Pediatric Neuroradiology. The ideal candidate will be board-certified in radiology (M.D. or M.D. / Ph.D.) and have fellowship and clinical experience in pediatric neuroradiology. The successful candidate should have a good academic track record and qualify for an appointment at a minimum of the Assistant Professor level at the Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto. Proficiency in English is required. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2022.

SickKids is committed to providing excellence in care with a highly qualified, interdisciplinary, hospital-based medical staff. The Hospital has approximately 340 beds and performs approximately 130,000 imaging studies per year.


Applicants ideally should have significant training and experience with fetal MRI and/or functional/advanced neuroimaging. Change management and leadership skills / potential will be an asset.  The ideal candidate must have demonstrated both scholarly and clinical achievement in the subspecialty of pediatric neuroradiology. The successful applicant will be part of the Division of Pediatric Neuroradiology at SickKids. Responsibilities will include performing and interpreting diagnostic neuroradiologic studies, fetal MRI, advanced neurovascular imaging, providing call coverage in evening and overnight hours in rotation with other pediatric neuroradiologists, and providing consultations. The Division of Pediatric Neuroradiology currently consists of 7 staff neuro-radiologists. The Division has a large, international fellowship program in Pediatric Neuroradiology and is also involved in the residency program of the Department of Medical Imaging of the University of Toronto. The Division works collaboratively with Neurology, Neurosurgery and other related disciplines in SickKids. 


Faculty appointment at the University of Toronto will be commensurate with the candidate’s academic productivity. Salary will be as per Departmental and Hospital compensation plans and will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications (see below). Salary: $ 369,000 to 470,000.
