Course title:  Advanced Auditing, MGT 2225H (2 modules – 2 sections)

Class schedule:   First Section – Any day of the week – time to be determined

                              Second Section – Same day as first section – time to be determined

Dates of appointment:  September 2022 – December 2022

Description of course:  The course covers the role of auditing in society, the regulatory environment of auditing and various specialized topics such as professional judgement, statistical auditing, attestation engagements, pension plan auditing and comprehensive auditing.   Prerequisite: MGT1323H

Position description:  All normal duties related to the design, administration and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; supervision of teaching assistants; development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and examinations; calculation and submission of grades to university officials; holding regular student office hours and maintaining reasonable availability for student contact.

Minimum qualifications:  Preferred qualifications are either PhD in relevant discipline (completed) or for non University of Toronto graduate students, in progress, or relevant qualifications, professional designation or professional experience.  We are seeking previous experience in teaching, teaching excellence, and mastery of subject area.  Previous experience in teaching a similar course is highly desirable.

Salary (per module):  $8,112

Anticipated enrolment:  85-90

Minimum TA support:  100 hours
