The Genome Engineering Facility of MPI-CBG is looking for a Technical Assistant (m/f/d) (BTA) to support the generation of engineered cell line models.
Job description
The work involves various genome engineering techniques to provide tools that can address a wide range of cell, developmental and biomedical questions. The close contact with the research groups from MPI-CBG and the Dresden campus provides dynamic and stimulating connection to the exciting science we contribute to.
Your qualifications
We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic person who is well organised, balanced, precise and efficient. Proficiency in the main techniques we use – cell culture, FACS, DNA cloning and CRISPR will be an advantage, but we value work attitude more than experience and encourage people early in their career to apply as well. Adequate training will be provided and you will be embedded in a team with very positive atmosphere, where people help and support each other. English is working language at the MPI-CBG.
Our offer
The full-time position is available immediately for an initial period of 2 years. Salary and social benefits will be in accordance with the regulations of the German TVöD Bund (salary agreement for public service employees).
