SnT is active in several international research and innovation projects funded by the Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR), the EU Horizon 2020 programme, the European Space Agency and the European Defense Agency. SnT has developed a broad and effective partnership program, currently made of 48 industrial and institutional partners located in Luxembourg and in Europe. The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) of the Centre is managing the acquisition of partnerships with Industry and the commercialization of Intellectual Property (IP). Your Role…

As Project Officer, you will provide high-level project management and administrative tasks within the TTO in executing specific technical transfer activities including:

  • Contribute to the project plan and contribute to budget follow-up of Centre activities
  • Contribute to internal cooperation and communication between internal stakeholders like research support department, other research entities, projects and central services.
  • Monitor the entire projects from proposal writing to project execution and reporting
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance of projects
  • Ensure periodical project reporting according to defined formats and project standards.
  • Ensure internal communication and cooperation with other faculties and the University administration regarding all technology transfer related questions
  • Assist in preparing and following up internal and external meetings, conferences and events of the The Technology Transfer Office. 
  • Contribute to knowledge and best practices sharing and dissemination.
Your Profile…
  • Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience in an area relevant to public research management
  • Relevant work experience with a focus on project office/facilitation through the entire project life cycle
  • Experience in public or private project management
  • Excellent command of English
  • Knowledge of French would be appreciated
  • Strong project organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of project management principles and best practices
  • Proven ability to work against deadlines
  • Service oriented and problem solving attitude
  • Computer literate and thorough hands-on experience with software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable in a multicultural environment
  • Self-starter and self-motivated, able to set one’s own objectives and requirements
