With regard to the nature of this merit-rated employment, the applicant’s academic and teaching merits will be assessed above all in respect of quality. A quantitative precedent of an applicant, which can be explained by the applicant having worked for a longer period, will therefore not be decisive. Same attention shall be paid to the assessment of teaching skills as to the assessment of academic skills.
Special emphasis is placed on the quality of completed teaching at undergraduate and advanced levels in higher education.
Another basis for assessment is quality of applicant’s research in mathematics/applied mathematics and its relevance for research environment MAM (mathematics/applied mathematics).
