The position:
As a member of the Fault Tolerant Computing research group within the department of System Architectures you will contribute to research in beyond the state-of-the-art communication technologies. Your tasks will include the development and implementation of resilient accelerators for open source processing systems in the beyond-5G and 6G wireless communications domain. An international team of 12 scientists including very experienced senior researchers as well as several PhD students is looking forward to you. Your qualifications:
You hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable study area. You are already experienced in hardware design and communication protocols. Ideally, but not mandatory you have a background in designing MAC layer protocols, fault tolerant and resilient computing and general experience with the RISC-V ISA and the PULP and CHIPYARD platforms.
