Salary: £42,155 to £53,353 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The School of Veterinary Medicine and Science is an innovative and forward thinking school at University of Nottingham. This has been demonstrated by the dramatic increase of our student numbers by moving to a dual intake system. In September 2019 150 undergraduate students started with us, with a further 150 starting in April 2020.  We have been consistently ranked #1 in NSS survey since our first graduating cohort in 2011. The school has 4 strategic research areas: “Diagnostics and Therapeutics” , “One Virology” , “Ruminant Population and Health” and  “Translational Infection Biology”.

Applications are invited for an Assistant/Associate Professor in the area of Veterinary Medicine and Oncology. The occupant of this role will contribute to the School’s research programme in the field of cancer biology and contribute to teaching in the undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the School of Veterinary Medicine and Sciences. 

This role is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours). Job share arrangements may be considered.
