Course Description: Historical and systematic approaches to topics in metaphysics, such as the nature of reality, substance and existence, necessity and possibility, causality, universals and particulars.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in philosophy (or related); strong academic record and professional promise; ongoing research and scholarly publications in the field; relevant and recent teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants who have clearly demonstrated teaching excellence in the subject matter.
Description of Duties: All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments; calculation and submission of grades; and holding regular office hours.
