The Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research, Department Cardiac Development and Remodeling, Prof. Dr. Thomas Braun, in Bad Nauheim (near Frankfurt am Main) is offering a PhD student position (f/m/d) in the field of cardiac regeneration and remodeling, ref. nr. 2023_09.

Job Description

We seek enthusiastic, highly motivated people to join our international research group working on immune cell heterogeneity during cardiac regeneration and remodeling. The current project involves the characterization of mouse mutants in different disease models, including functional, histological, transcriptional, and protein biochemical analysis. Experience with animal models and solid knowledge in bioinformatics to analyze single cell RNAseq data and of immunology is highly appreciated. Salaries will be based on previous experience according to TVöD guidelines.
