Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Theoretical and experimental development and implementation of strategies to efficiently generate surface acoustic waves through the excitation of mechanical oscillations in single gold nanoparticles
- Scientific cooperation in different projects being developed in our group
- Collaborative work with international partners
- Publication of the results in specialized scientific journals, participation in conferences as well as the presentation of seminars in our group meetings
- Eventually help with teaching duties, not more than two weekly hours.
Your qualifications:
- Finished Ph.D. degree in Physics, in the areas of Optics of Condensed Matter Systems and/or Ultrafast Spectroscopy
- Advanced knowledge and skills in the Pump-and-Probe Technique
- Proven ability in independently performing advanced scientific work and paper writing
- Excellent command of the English language
- Team player and enthusiasm to work in a multi-disciplinary and collaborative environment.
