Amanuens in Engineering Materials
based at the Department of Management and Engineering (IEI)
Duties
We are looking for 4-6 student research assistants (amanuenser), who, if necessary and by agreement, will assist course coordinators in their teaching of engineering materials. The tasks can involve lesson teaching, lab supervision, correction of reports.
The appointment time and starting date are determined by agreement.
Competence
Qualified for employment as a student research assistant is only those who are admitted to education at the undergraduate or advanced level.
Qualifications
The employment is directly linked to the basic courses for which the division of Engineering materials is responsible. The employment is also linked to the research projects conducted by this division.
It is considered an advantage if you are studying at Linköping University at an advanced level and that you can demonstrate documented good knowledge in the areas you are expected to teach in. Furthermore, it is especially an advantage if you have experience of previous teaching, as well as being available for assignments throughout 2023 and the first term of 2024.
The tasks are varied and can arise at short notice, which requires flexibility and that you are available at the university. You must also be responsible, thorough, service-oriented, have pedagogical skills and be interested in each subject area.
Salary
Salary for student research assistants is regulated based on an agreement between Linköping University and the unions. The employment is hourly paid.
