Your role as a Cleaner: 

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills who will take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas.

Based at the Hallward Library at University Park, duties will include the cleaning of wide range of areas and spaces (from foyer areas, carpets, tables, corridors, toilets, offices, and meeting rooms, and disposing recycling and rubbish etc) across the library areas and commercial outlets and providing both planned and reactive cleaning service and ensuring excellent customer service is provided at all times. 

This position entails providing and supporting the local cleaning team with covering holidays, sickness, deep cleaning etc.

Available Posts:

Post 1: Hours of work are 6 per week, 2 days out of 7 to be arranged (mainly Saturday and Sunday, between 6.00am and 9.00am) Flexibility will be required.

There is 1 weekend position available, which is eligible to an additional 20% Weekend Working Allowance pay.

The successful candidate for this post will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which will run each day, Monday to Friday mornings each month. Further details will be given at interview.
