YOUR TEAM
You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out the research.
More specifically, you will work in the Design & Construction Office of the Technical Services & Facilities Directorate that is coordinated by Dr. Massimiliano Gatti, who has extensive experience in the field.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- design and management of construction works in the Institute’s premises, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, relevant paperwork;
- management of workspaces, both office and laboratory, keeping the database updated, the assignment of desks and the supervision of the correct turnover of workstations, ensuring the right match of the scientific background of the assignees;
- support in the management of fire prevention, also through the design and maintenance of fire prevention devices;
- management of commissions, also with the role of works supervisor or operational supervisor, and management of safety on construction sites, both in the design phase and in the execution phase.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Architecture or Diploma in surveying;
- Enrollment in the Order of Architects or Board of Surveyors with authorization to sign projects;
- Knowledge of the management of building procedures;
- Knowledge of the Procurement Code D.L. 50/16, of the Regulation L. 207/10 and of the T.U 81/08;
- Excellent knowledge of applications for the preparation of graphic projects (Autocad) and metric calculations;
- Experience in design, management and organization of construction sites, in particular in the field of public procurement, graphic drafting of building permits;
- Experience in the management of workspaces and related health and safety regulations;
- Good familiarity with the main IT tools, autonomy and problem solving skills, organizational and relational skills;
- Good command of spoken and written English.
Availability to travel throughout the national territory is required.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Qualification to carry out the activity of safety coordinator in the design and execution phase;
- Qualification to sign fire prevention projects;
- Knowledge of CAM and their application in the construction sector;
- Knowledge and practice of BIM;
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize assigned activities;
- Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
- Ability to work both individually and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment.
