An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated People and Culture Officer to join the friendly and supportive Faculty Hub Team in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. You will have an opportunity to make a difference and embed inclusivity within everything that we do as a Faculty.
As People and Culture Officer you will provide high-level administrative support to deliver EDI, career development and staff engagement activities against agreed actions plans and key performance indicators. You will work closely with the Faculty Director of EDI and Faculty EDI Coordinator to implement initiatives to address inequalities within the Faculty and create opportunities for colleagues to develop their skills. You will also provide administrative support to Faculty committees and support staff engagement by creating engaging communications, materials, and campaigns and maintaining webpages and communication sites.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about people, equality and diversity and driven to make an impact across a large and diverse faculty. You will have experience in working in an administrative post and organising high-impact events and workshops. We are looking for someone who can work effectively and adaptably as part of the Faculty Hub team with excellent skills in the use of Office 365 applications. You will have great communication skills and will work with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be organised and have the ability to work on multiple tasks under your own initiative. You should be educated to at least NHC/HND (or equivalent), a relevant professional qualification is desirable.
The role is based in the Medical School Building, near University Park, but you will be supported to work from a variety of locations (including from home) to meet the needs of the role. This is a permanent role available full-time (36.25 hours per week) or part-time (29 hours per week) and flexible working is supported. Job share arrangements may also be considered.
